چکیده

Abstract We present the analysis of X-ray and optical observations gas filaments observed in radio source 3CR 318.1, associated with NGC 5920, brightest cluster galaxy (BCG) MKW 3 s, a nearby cool core cluster. This work is one first analyses clusters carried out using MUSE observations. aim at identifying main excitation processes responsible for emission arising from these filaments. complemented VLT/MUSE observations, tracing colder phase, Chandra hotter highly ionized phase. Using we studied line intensity ratios along to constrain physical driving excitation, and, spectral found spatial association between morphology filaments, which are have lower metal abundance than surrounding intracluster medium (ICM), as already seen other BCGs. Comparing previous results literature BCGs, propose that process most likely combination star formation shocks, contribution self-ionizing, cooling ICM. Additionally, conclude originated AGN-driven outflows direction jet.

Dosimetry of Occupational Radiation around Panoramic X-ray Apparatus

Background: Panoramic imaging is one of the most common imaging methods in dentistry. Regarding the side-effects of ionizing radiation, it is necessary to survey different aspects and details of panoramic imaging. In this study, we compared the absorbed x-ray dose around two panoramic x-ray units: PM 2002 CC Proline (Planmeca, Helsinki, Finland) and Cranex Tome (Soredex, Helsinki, Finland).<br ...

Chandra X - Ray CenterMIT

Some observations are adversely affected by bias-parity errors. To explore the properties of these errors, 16,304 bias-parity error files were obtained from the archive for the interval from the beginning of the mission through July 8, 2010. Figure 1 shows histograms of the total number and the “valid” number (see sec. 1.5) of errors for each file. The results for the valid errors are also list...

Chandra measurements of 3 C 220 . 1 ’ s X - ray core and cluster

We report results of an 18 ks exposure with the ACIS instrument on Chandra of the powerful z = 0.62 radio galaxy 3C 220.1. The X-ray emission separates into cluster gas of emission-weighted kT ∼ 5 keV and 0.7-12 keV luminosity (to a radius of 45 arcsec) 5.6 × 10 44 ergs s −1 , and unresolved emission (coincident with the radio core). While the extended X-ray emission is clearly thermal in natur...

Chandra observations of five X - ray transient galactic nuclei 3

We report on exploratory Chandra observations of five galactic nuclei that were found to be X-ray bright during the ROSAT all-sky survey (with LX ∼ > 10 erg s) but subsequently exhibited a dramatic decline in X-ray luminosity. Very little is known about the post-outburst X-ray properties of these enigmatic sources. In all five cases Chandra detects an X-ray source positionally coincident with t...

Simultaneous H . E . S . S . and Chandra observations of Sgr A ⋆ during an X - ray flare

The rapidly varying non-thermal X-ray emission observed from Sgr A⋆ points to particle acceleration taking place close to the supermassive black hole. The TeV γ-ray source HESS J1745−290 is coincident with Sgr A⋆ and may be closely related to the X-ray emission. Simultaneous X-ray and TeV observations are required to elucidate the relationship between these two objects. Here we report on joint ...
